Children from Door 84 will be performing with Blossom Street Singers.
Blossom Street Singers, a successful and versatile chamber choir comprising young professional singers, returns to its roots this September, almost a decade after it was established.
Directed by Hilary Campbell, the group was formed in 2003, while the singers were undergraduates at the University of York, and relocated to London four years later. Projects last year included a CD recording, trips to Sweden and Spain, performances at the Edinburgh Fringe, regular broadcasts on Radio 4 and corporate, concert and festival work. This year the group will be performing in the UK,
Spain and Japan, making a recording for Guild and undertaking several education projects in addition to a busy performing schedule.
The Group will be performing at the National Centre for Early Music, York, on Saturday 14th September.
All proceeds going to Door 84, Centre for Youth. Registered Charity Number: 523455.
